Japan, Okinawa: Shuri castle

As our diving classes finished, we still had a bit more time for sightseeing so we went to the Shuri castle where I took an evil pleasure to run everywhere to collect all the stamps making my boyfriend despair a little bit as he is not really the sightseeing type. But once set with a goal of getting all the stamp he was more eager than me to get them.
The Shuri castle is elevated and surrounded by a wall making it a really good fortress but it still managed to be burned down several time in the course of history and rebuilt. Its architecture and color are of Chinese inspiration as it was long time ago under Chinese domination.
