“If you want to live, run away from
here before it’s too late, run away from here before the black fire
find what he had been looking for. But you won’t, and you’ll
die”, he said smiling.
It seemed that it was amusing form him,
to talk about other’s death, to tell them that it was all over now,
just after the terrible battle they had just been a part of. They had
won, they were fully themselves now, but it was for nothing, they
wouldn’t accomplish anything with their new powers, nothing for
themselves and nothing for this world. Yue was starting to be
conscious of it. He somehow felt as if he should also ran away even
though Kion hadn’t pointed at him, yet. But another part of him
wanted to be sure that they had the witch first.
“Where is the black fire?” one of
the three demons asked.
“I don’t know”, Kion answered.
“Where is the red fire?” one of the
three demons asked.
“On his way, coming closer and
closer, soon he will know all of the past and all of the future and
he will come to get what is rightfully his”, Kion answered.
“And what is that?” one of the
three demons asked.
“The witch of course, you already
know that, you signed your death contract when you brought her here,
and the death contract of those, it is sealed, it is sealed, it is
sealed”, Kion repeated pointing at the exact same demons he had
pointed at earlier and in the exact same order.
Yue was starting to understand that
Kion was really seeing the death he was talking about and probably
much more.
“How do we stop the red fire?” he
asked.
