WeWriWar 230: Demon Soul

Welcome to a new excerpt for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday.
When Demon Soul first came out, it wasn't really in it's best form.
It is the first book of my Demon Series and the First book of The House at The Crossing cluster. I have written a lot of the other books in the series, I have about 6 so far, but I haven't gone to publishing them mostly because I wasn't happy with the quality of Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy. So I wanted to have something that look better and that I could be proud of  before getting the other books out.
I decided to redo Demon Soul with a brand new edit and a brand new cover.
The book is almost ready and the professional cover should arrive soon so I though I could start here with a few snippet until the cover reveal and the new publishing.

Enjoy!

Let's start right were we left off last week

She cried, yelled, and questioned him, but the only answers she obtained was that everything was fine and that she was the one acting strangely.
In despair, Brownie locked herself in the library, reading books about demons and magic, looking for an answer, for a way to bring him back. But all was in vain. She couldn't find what was wrong, until his Dark Side told her how happy he was that the demon community had decided to get rid of his soul. She felt so empty and hopeless that she couldn't fight anymore. She realised that each time his Dark Side had buried his soul deep inside him, all she had to do was call their memories together to bring it back. Now it was gone, and the memories of them were erased from his mind one by one as the demons were torturing his soul.

She still tried, and each time she saw him, she cried but became more determined to get him his soul back.

NaNoWriMo Vlog Day 9 (8) Catch up and Mini Centaur

I did a lot of writing today. I managed to catch up the words I didn't write on day 8. I don't know what happened on day 8 really. I was just in front of my PC and I couldn't write any sentence that make sense.
So today I got almost 5k words which is what I needed to be on time for my own schedule.
I also made a video for my other channel with the last doll box I had to open.
You can see that here.
Then I made a little centaur custom. I had it forever and I finally decided it was time to make it. I had quite a bit of problem on the face but after three tries it's not that bad.

Here is the video

Vampire Friday: Vampire Heart 146

Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!

Summary of the previous episodes: Viorel has been tortured by his supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi) taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.
Viorel dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything. Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets. On the other side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting him. Viorel discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not the easiest thing to handle.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week

Nothing separated us. If they had changed Sorina, she was still there, somewhere, waiting for me, she was alright, she would survive this, they would wait for me to come back before doing anything to her now. I felt the smirk forming on my face. My heart was yelling out for Sorina, I wanted to slide this vampire and make it suffer more than anything before killing him for daring to think about hurting Sorina.
“She would be in a pitiful state for you to see when I get you back home and we will do more to her. I will love to take care of her in front of you, you know what they say about the humans changed into vampires?” he said looking at me.
There was nothing left between us and we were turning around each other.
“I know you are burning to tell me”, I said, “Can I have your name first, or is it anonymous club?”
“You don’t know my name, you ungrateful brad, after all the time I spend carrying you around on my shoulders when you were a kid”, he said. “I somehow lost my memory a little before you tried to kill me, so I’m sorry but your name has slipped out”, I said. “It’s not like it’s so important anyway as you are going to die tonight.”
He had a strange laugh.
“My name is Cosmin”, he said, “I think it’s always nice to know the name of the one killing you.”
He was getting mad too, and I hoped that it would make him careless. He didn’t want to bring me back anymore, he wanted to kill me right here and now. It was better. But I needed to focus on his brutal force. He made a move to withdraw his sword that was the opening I had been waiting for. I plunged on him almost picking my sword in his groin but he blocked me with his covered sword, the cover didn’t resist the impact and he pulled the sword through it. It was the kind of sword I had expected, it fit with his overly huge biceps, it was large but not so long, it seemed to be a bit rusty probably not taken out in the air often enough. The blade seemed to have suffered a lot of unrecovered damages with time. There was a snake going up the blade and opening its mouth like to swallow the handle. It was more of a decorative sword that something I would have liked to fight with but as poor looking as it was, it was still heavy enough and in the hand of this vampire it was surely a deadly weapon.

Pullip and Namu Anniversary Dolls Set Review (with video)

Today, I'm opening a version special Pullip and Namu duo from 2004.
They are a pullip anniversary set limited at 300 world wide. This set is number 22. I didn't think I would ever find them but I managed to get a rather low number in the series. They are in the theme of the carnival so on top of their luxurious outfits with jewelry and accessories they come with mask made with their mold.

Here is the video

And here are some pictures
